Tradition & nature

In the north of Schleswig-Holstein, with the North Frisians, everything’s different. They have their own language, traditions and customs. They celebrate their favourite old festivals – such as the Biiken on St. Peter’s Day and the ring jousting in summer – and the Frisian women are often seen in their gorgeous traditional costume.
