Directly on the North Sea coast lies the picturesque fishing town of Büsum. Depending on the state of the tides, visitors can take a mudflat hike in the Wadden Sea National Park or a wonderfully refreshing swim in the North Sea. Known as the ‘town of little streets’, the North Sea spa of Büsum is ideal for day trips, particularly with older visitors and seniors. The esplanade, the picturesque museum harbour and the pleasant pedestrianised zone are all close to one another and can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.
